Dementia Action Week runs from 19th to 25th May. This week, spearheaded by Alzheimer's UK, aims to support early diagnosis and increase awareness of positive steps we can take to improve the lives of people with dementia.

We know families often struggle to talk to loved ones about concerns they may have around memory. Approaching the conversation gently — in a calm, familiar setting, focusing on specific examples rather than labels, and reassuring them you'll go to the GP together — can make a real difference.

Our team supports people living with dementia at home and in care homes across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire — with mobility, falls prevention, meaningful activity and family training. If you'd like to talk through how physiotherapy and occupational therapy can help, please get in touch.
